Clayton King | @clayton_king

Clayton King was born in 1972 to a 15-year-old mother and adopted into a loving family in the Upstate. Clayton was saved and sensed a call to ministry at age 14 and began speaking in churches, youth groups, and local prisons as a teenager. He's now been in ministry for 30 years. Clayton serves as the President of CKM as well as a Teaching Pastor at Newspring Church in Anderson, South Carolina. He has written many books and bible study tools including, “Overcome”, “Stronger”, and in collaboration with Sharie, “Grounded”. His next book will be released in 2020. Clayton is married to Sharie, and they enjoy working, writing, and speaking together. He is the father of two teenage sons, Jacob and Joseph. He loves good books, black coffee, four-wheelers and anything that gets him outside in the woods.


Sharie King | @sharieking99

When Sharie was twelve she couldn’t imagine doing anything other than serve Jesus with her life. She and her husband, Clayton, founded Clayton King Ministries serving together for over 20 years. Clayton King Ministries exists to serve the local church, to preach the gospel and make disciples. Sharie fulfills this calling by traveling and speaking at colleges, churches and various events and in her writing career. 

Sharie, having written many books and studies including her most recent work, “I Love You More: Except When I Don’t”, also has a very successful podcast called, “Overcoming Mondays” where she hosts conversations with some of her favorite people that will enhance your emotional and spiritual health by helping you understand yourself, the people you love, and the world around you. Sharie is wife to Clayton, mother to Jacob and Joseph and a cute dog named Theo. She loves art and painting, skiing (water and snow), hiking followed by a spa day, and a good book.


Algernon Tennyson

Algernon has a radical personal testimony on how Jesus Christ changed his life. As a young man, excelling as an athlete, his life's purpose changed when he heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Algernon pursued God's call to speak boldly and passionately about His transforming grace to all believers. This testimony, along with his gift of evangelism, has enabled him to reach youth and adults in a very powerful and effective way all over the world.


Whitney Sullivan

Whitney is a multi-platform producer/anchor for WLTX-TV in Columbia, SC creating content for and appearing on the station's daily morning newscast.

Whitney started her career with WLTX in 2014 as an assignment editor and associate producer. Over the course of three years, she worked in several different positions.

During her time with the station, Whitney has covered the 2015 Historic October Flood, the 2015 Charleston Church Shooting, and the removal of the confederate flag from the State House grounds. Her work as a producer covering the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando earned her an Emmy nomination, and her stories have been featured in USA Today.

Greg Wells | @thegwells

In 2008, Greg worked as a Summer Staff for Crossroads Summer Camp. His entire life’s direction was shifted through the leadership and discipleship examples at Clayton King Ministries. After his Summer Staff years, Greg served as a worship and student pastor in the local Church for over ten years. He currently lives in Anderson, South Carolina and serves as the Service Producer, Relationship Manager and a Staff Pastor at Crossroads Summer Camp for Clayton King Ministries. He is passionate about coming alongside pastors and student leaders in their ministries, challenging students in their walks of faith, cultivating Christian community, and helping churches see the importance of a healthy ministry culture.

He and his wife, Ashley, have three boys, Joel, Hudson, and Ben.


Josh Gardner | @jandche

Josh is consumed with the idea that the news of the gospel demands our urgent devotion. He's passionate about the next generation and believes they are the key to seeing Jesus proclaimed until there is no place that hasn't heard of Jesus Christ. The majority of his twenty-two years in ministry have been spent investing in young people. Josh graduated with a degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree. During his college years, he helped lead a city-wide movement called "50 Days of Unbroken Prayer" and he also spearheaded a collaborative church-planting effort in the Middle East that is still multiplying to this day. As a former inner-city missionary, student trainer, youth volunteer, youth pastor, gospel-conversation trainer, and discipleship director, he now wants to use those experiences to minister to students and church leaders through speaking.

Josh, his wife Che, and their four really cute children live in Anderson, SC where he serves full-time at Clayton King Ministries. Josh serves as a resource creator, recruiter, trainer, and now speaker! He is also the founding pastor of 1:8 Community Church, an exciting new church plant that is laser-focused on making Jesus known among the least engaged peoples of the city.


Jess Brock | @jessmbrock

Jess Brock calls Anderson, SC home with her husband Justin, two kids Emery and Grey, and Cavapoo named Poppy. Jess' roots run deep with CKM. Jess has served in various capacities with CKM for over fifteen years including working on Summer Staff, interning in our office, and leading various mission trips across the globe. Most recently, you may have seen Jess teaching at Summer Camp as our Female Pastoral Care Director.  

With many years of unique ministry experiences under her belt, Jess is passionate about inspiring others to dive into the Word, loves encouraging leaders in their calling, and speaking on community and family. 

As an enneagram 7, Jess loves to travel, enjoy good food, and do yoga.
