Clayton King was born in 1972 to a 15-year-old mother and adopted into a loving family in the Upstate. Clayton was saved and sensed a call to ministry at age 14 and began speaking in churches, youth groups, and local prisons as a teenager. He's now been in ministry for 30 years. Clayton is married to Sharie, and they enjoy working, writing, and speaking together. He is the father of two teenage sons, Jacob and Joseph. He loves good books, black coffee, four-wheelers and anything that gets him outside in the woods.

When Sharie was twelve she couldn’t imagine doing anything other than serve Jesus with her life. She and her husband, Clayton, founded Clayton King Ministries serving together for over 20 years. Clayton King Ministries exists to serve the local church, to preach the gospel and make disciples. Sharie fulfills this calling by traveling and speaking at colleges, churches and various events and in her writing career.
Sharie has just finished a book which has been a dream in the making for over five years, "I Love You More (except when I don’t), Fighting to Make Jesus First". Her book is about how to surrender our insecurities to Jesus so we can love Him more. Sharie is wife to Clayton, mother to Jacob and Joseph and a cute dog named Theo. She loves art and painting, skiing (water and snow), hiking followed by a spa day, and a good book.
Dan Lian | @dan_lian
Dan Lian is a husband, father, and gospel ninja. Dan joined NewSpring Church as part of the teaching team in 2017. Before joining the staff at NewSpring, Dan preached at churches and events around the world. Dan has more than 15 years of full-time ministry experience as a pastor, Bible college lecturer, and traveling speaker. He completed a Master's degree in church practice at Tabor Bible College. Dan, his wife, Krista, and their two kids moved from Melbourne, Australia, to Anderson, South Carolina where they enjoy no traffic and a growing passion for college football.
Naeem Fazal | @naeemfazal
Naeem Fazal was born and raised in Kuwait as a Muslim. After coming to the US in the early 90s', he had a supernatural experience that changed his life forever - he met Jesus! He is now the founding pastor of Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC, and he is also the author of the book Ex-Muslim: How One Daring Prayer to Jesus Changed a Life. His dynamic personality connects well with churches of any kind, and he is a gifted evangelist that can give a clear gospel presentation.
Brian Burgess | @brianbbm
Brian was saved at the age of 14 and surrendered to ministry at 16. He travels and speaks to churches, public schools, summer camps and universities all over the United States. Brian has an amazing story of Christ transforming him from a rebellious teenager into a man who is passionate about God. He clearly communicates the timeless principles of God’s Word with effective zeal and enthusiasm. He is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a B.A. in Religious Studies and a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Studies. Brian is married to Angie Burgess and they have four children. They enjoy working out, camping, traveling the world, and riding motorcycles. It is Brian’s desire that their life, family, and ministry will so accurately reflect God’s grace and power that they may encourage and enrich your ministry.
Zach Dickson | @zachdickson
Zach, a South Carolina native, has a long history with Clayton King Ministries. He graduated from Clemson University and was a part of the very first Crossroads Discipleship Home (CDH) in 2005. Following his time in CDH, Zach moved to Gainesville, FL to help with a church plant. He became the Associate Pastor where he learned the meaning of ministering to youth, families, and college students. After a few years of living and working in Gainesville, Zach and his wife, Ashley, returned to work with Clayton King Ministries where he served as the Discipleship Director for four years and currently serves as an Itinerant Speaker.
Years of experience in pastoring, teaching, and community development have fostered a love for people. This love has fueled a strong passion to help and understand people, resulting in his Counseling Degree from Liberty University. Zach has a passion to help people get unstuck, so he and his wife founded Hopetown, a ministry which provides Professional Counseling for you in your pursuit of hope and freedom & training for church leaders to be better equipped at caring for others and themselves.
Josh Gardner | @jandche
Josh has spent many years living in missional communities to understand how to make Jesus known locally and globally. He was a church planter in the Middle East, and now serves as the Discipleship Director at Clayton King Ministries, training churches to be disciple-makers and to share the gospel effectively. He has a desire to fan the flame by teaching others how to step into faith and readily obey Him in anything and everything He asks us to do. His ministry now includes training to churches and students to teach others.
